Background & Experience
Have been teaching privately for 25 years (exclusively in the Oak Park/River Forest area for 12); played saxophone and clarinet for many artists (Natalie Cole, Barry Manilow, Brian Wilson, Julie Andrews, Henry Mancini to name a few) as well as many Broadway shows in downtown Chicago (Fosse, Chicago, The Color Purple, Cabaret, Wicked); led a band that played for weddings and corporate functions for 10 years
I love teaching privately, not only for the opportunity to lead my students on as authentic of a musical journey as I can, but to also create relationships with them during a very formative time in their lives. I take what I do very seriously but try to have as much fun doing it as I can.
