Background & Experience

~Prior to relocating to Chicago, Nazar was an Assistant to the Cello Professor at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory where he received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Cello Performance.

~Nazar is currently the assistant principal cellist in the Elgin Symphony Orchestra. He performs with many of the premier institutions and venues in the Chicagoland area including: Symphony Center, Chicago Chamber Musicians, United Center, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Lyric Opera, St. James Cathedral, the Woodstock Mozart Festival, University of Chicago, and the Latin Chamber Musicians

~Nazar is the cello professor at Northeastern Illinois University, Elgin Community College and the Naperville School for the Performing Arts He also maintains an active studio of exceptional private students.
