My name is Aaron Kaufman-Levine and I have 9 years of experience teaching saxophone,
improvisation, and music theory in Oak Park, Chicago, and Boston.
I’m an Oak Park native and recent graduate of New England Conservatory of Music. I’m an
active performer and composer in Chicago, and have played at the Hyde Park Jazz Fest,
Bronzeville Jazz fest, Chicago Jazz Festival and the Toronto University Jazz Festival.
My teaching philosophy is to inspire creativity, a commitment, and a love for music in my
students to help them reach their goals and musical aspirations.
I believe in establishing personalized lesson plans to meet the needs and learning styles of all
my students.
I’m comfortable teaching all levels and ages!
