Background & Experience
My teaching experience began in 2013 in Moscow when I was helping my violin professor, Ara Bogdanyan, who was one of the famous students of David Oistrakh. I started teaching as his assistant at Moscow State Conservatory and then continued creating my own studio in United States. Throughout these years, I helped hundreds of students of all ages develop their violin skills and bring it to the next level. My students were accepted in United states Universities with scholarships. My goal is to help any violin player develop their individual performance skills, fix any difficulties with techniques, and get rid of any tension that may appear in public performances.
Together with my teaching activities, I am a concert violin performer and have performed as a soloist with orchestras, as well as in chamber ensembles in some of the best Music Halls in Russia, Europe and United States. I have studied and participated in masterclasses with greatest musicians in the world, such as Pinchas Zukerman, Boris Kushnir, Ilia Kaler, Paul Kantor, Elmar Oliveira, Shlomo Mintz, Dmitry Berlinsky, Gerardo Ribeiro, Pavel Vernikov, Ara Bogdanian and many others.
As a chamber musician, I have studied with members of Borodin quartet in the Moscow state Conservatory and have worked as a chamber instructor at the University of North Dakota.
I started my music education and violin lessons in preparatory classes at Central Music School in Moscow at the age of 4. I was accepted to the Central Music School in 2002, and, while studying at this school, performed multiple concerts across Russia and abroad. During my studies at the Central Music School, I participated in several competitions, including the UFAM Concours de Musique, Paris, France, in 2005 and 2006 where I won the 1st prize. I am the winner of the third prize in the Demidov International Youth Violin Competition DeMYuKS-V in Yekaterinburg, Russia (2009) and the XVII Togliatti International Competition for Musicians (2012). In 2013, I graduated from the Central Music School and entered the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory. During my time at the Conservatory, I participated in the III Savely Orlov International Music Competition Festival (Samara, Russia, 2015, II prize) and the First Rudolf Gummert International Young Performers Competition (Kazan, Russia, 2017, II prize). During my time as a student in the United States, I obtained prizes in the GGFSO Young Artist Concerto Competition (Grand Forks, ND, 2019, I prize), the BSO Young Artist Competition (Bismarck, ND, 2019, I prize) and the Thursday Musical Young Artist Scholarship Competition (St. Louis Park, MN, 2021, I prize). I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University with Professor Gerardo Ribeiro.
