I love teaching growing flutists of all ages. I have 10 years of experience teaching students ages 6-68. In addition to my private teaching studio, I have been on faculty at several educational institutions, including the University of Chicago, Loyola Academy, and the British International School of Chicago.
I have an immense amount of real-life performance experience (my resume is far too long to list here!), and I love using my extensive experience to inform my teaching. A few career highlights: during the summer, I serve as Second Flute/Piccolo of the Santa Fe Opera, one of the world's premiere opera companies. I served as Acting Utility Flute of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra during the 2021-2022 season, and Acting Flute/Piccolo of the Lyric Opera of Chicago for the 2022-2023 season.
I am a frequent substitute with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
I will be accepting new students into my private studio in Chicago starting September 2023. I can accept new remote students starting mid-July 2023.
