Background & Experience
Stephanie Brune is a Chicago area native. She received her BM in piano performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her senior year, she was one of five winners of the IWU Concerto Competition, performing Richard Strauss' Burlesque for Piano and Orchestra.
Always possessing a love for liturgical music, Mrs. Brune went on to get a Masters in Liturgical Theology from University of St. Mary of the Lake, The Liturgical Institute.
In addition to her formal training, Stephanie Brune has gained a wealth of experience teaching private lessons for over 15 years. She continues to learn new things from her students every day!
In addition to private lessons, Mrs. Brune serves as the organist and music coordinator at St. Peter Church in Volo, IL, where she directs four choirs and two Gregorian chant scholas.
