Background & Experience

Trevor Jones is the house bassist at The Marriott Theatre in Chicago. In addition to playing over 30 productions, Trevor was also a substitute for the Chicago production of Hamilton. Over the past decade, Trevor’s group Molehill has toured the country and compiled a body of work that has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, among others. Trevor is a partner of the double bass podcast Contrabass Conversations and was the instructor of double bass and bass guitar at Illinois Wesleyan University from 2012-2020. 

Trevor is the founder of The Scholarship Roadmap, an online mentor ship program for student musicians pursuing careers in music.

Trevor's principal teachers include Rob Kassinger, Andrew Kohn, and Duane Botterbusch. While studying with Rob Kassinger, Trevor performed with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
