Teaching Philosophy:

I see my role as flute instructor as giving students the tools they need to help make music a permanent fixture in their lives. For some, they may continue playing flute for many years and aspire to play professionally. Others may decide to play through high school into adulthood or become avid concertgoers in their communities. Since each student is an individual, I don't follow a set curriculum in lessons, but assign repertoire based on the needs of the individual student. Whether you want to pursue a career in music, play purely for fun, are returning to flute after many years or struggle to keep up in your school's band, I can help you achieve your musical goals.
