I started playing flute when I was a child, and studied with Susan Levitin in high school. I also took private lessons while attending Lake Forest College.
I currently perform with the Deerfield Community Concert Band. I also do occasional services for Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation, and have performed as part of flute ensembles for the North Shore Unitarian Church.
I performed for two years with the Chicago Flute Society. I co-founded Lakeside Flutes in 1987.
It has been a particular joy to see how my daughters enjoy music, and to be able to play with them.
Making music with my flute is a wonderful experience, and the joy of music is why I enjoy teaching others.
