Noted for her highly versatile voice, a mezzo soprano, Roberta Brickman has brought her wide operatic and concert repertoire to many communities from coast to coast. She has sung over forty operatic and musical roles as well as numerous concerts and oratorios. Her stage appearances include Baba in The Rake's Progress, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Charlotte in Werther, Maddelena in Rigoletto, Lucretia in The Rape Of Lucretia, The Witch in Hansel and Gretel, the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas and the title role in Carmen among others. Ms. Brickman has worked for many companies including, Opera San Jose, Michigan Opera Theatre, Lake George Opera Festival, Chicago Opera Theatre, Sarasota Opera and Du Page Opera Theatre. She has sung the alto or mezzo solo in Verdi's Requiem, Handel's Messiah and Mahler's Symphony No. 4 with the Virginia Symphony, Dubuque Symphony, Peninsula Symphony and the Orange County Chamber Orchestra. In addition to her work as a classical singer, Ms. Brickman performed several voice-over and other classical commercial credits. Her voice will be heard in several more voice-over project in upcoming releases.
